My Approach
To provide a safe and nonjudgmental space inviting clients to share their stories; learn how to identify self defeating patterns and develop healthier strategies to create desired change. I practice a non-traditional and compassionate approach that integrates mind-body, cognitive, neuroscience and mindfulness based techniques to teach clients how to re-frame negative thoughts, release pent up emotions and find alternative strategies to manage conflict.
Socrates said “To find yourself, think for yourself”. Much of our programming has been influenced by what happens to us; what meaning we attach to our experiences; how it is processed; how it is integrated into our belief system, our physiology and our perceptions thus affecting how we respond to it.

What we think matters
Our thoughts shape our perceptions and often decides how we may respond to experiences. We have been conditioned for approval, acceptance and worthiness, we often internalize these opinions both into our conscious and subconscious minds often leading to self doubt, self criticism and even self loathing. These thoughts become patterns and beliefs that often get played out in our relationships with self and others.
